State Privacy Rights Supplemental Notice

This policy explains the rules and practices that apply to Westbrook's website and organizational research-material services. It should be read together with the other Westbrook website policies.

This supplemental section applies only to the extent a state privacy law covers Westbrook and the individual. State coverage frequently depends on residency, business activity, revenue, data volume, data practices, and statutory exemptions.

Where applicable, residents may request confirmation or access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients. They may be entitled to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; use an authorized agent; appeal a denied request; or receive nondiscriminatory treatment.

Requests may be submitted to [email protected] with the subject State Privacy Request. Include the state of residence, relationship to Westbrook, request type, and relevant email or account. Westbrook will verify the request and respond under the law that applies. Where an appeal right applies, reply to the decision with the subject Privacy Appeal and explain the basis for the appeal.

Request Verification

Verification is tailored to the request and sensitivity of the information. Westbrook will not disclose sensitive account or transaction information when identity or authority cannot be reasonably confirmed. Information supplied for verification is used for that purpose and related security or legal obligations.

Appeals and Authorized Agents

Where applicable law provides an appeal, a requester may reply to the decision with Privacy Appeal in the subject line. An authorized agent must provide evidence of authority, and Westbrook may confirm the request directly with the individual where permitted.

Policy Administration

Westbrook may revise this policy prospectively when its website, products, controls, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version.
