Returns Refunds and Cancellations Policy
Last updated September 17, 2026
Westbrook Bioscience LLC · All policies
This policy explains the rules and practices that apply to Westbrook's website and organizational research-material services. It should be read together with the other Westbrook website policies.
All sales final
All sales are final. Westbrook does not offer voluntary returns, refunds, exchanges, or change-of-mind cancellations after order acceptance. Please review the product, quantity, intended laboratory use, and receiving details before placing an order.
Legally required remedies
This policy does not exclude or limit any refund, cancellation right, warranty remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived. If Westbrook cancels an unshipped paid order or cannot fulfill it, the applicable payment will be returned as required by law. This exception does not create a general satisfaction guarantee or a voluntary return program.
Before order acceptance
Contact [email protected] promptly if you need to correct or withdraw an order submission before acceptance. A request is not effective until Westbrook confirms it. An application, cart submission, or payment acknowledgment does not guarantee order acceptance.
Reporting an order problem
Report an incorrect item, shortage, transit damage, broken seal, document mismatch, or suspected nonconformance promptly, preferably within five business days after delivery. Include the order number, product, lot, issue, photos, storage history, and remaining quantity. Stop use and preserve all material and packaging while Westbrook investigates.
Returns and custody
Do not send material back without written authorization and shipping instructions. Unauthorized packages may be refused. Returned research material will not be restocked because storage, handling, identity, integrity, and chain of custody cannot be verified after delivery. Return authorization is for investigation or a legally required remedy and does not establish a voluntary refund entitlement.
Return Authorization
An authorization identifies the product, lot, quantity, reason, packaging requirements, destination, and expiration of the authorization. Authorization does not admit nonconformance or guarantee a refund. Westbrook may instead direct quarantine, documented destruction, or another disposition when return transport is unsafe or unnecessary.
Required refunds
When a refund is required by applicable law or for an unfulfilled order canceled by Westbrook, it will be issued to the original lawful payment method where feasible. Processing depends on the provider, subject to any legally required timing.
Chargebacks and Duplicate Refunds
A purchaser should contact Westbrook before initiating a payment dispute so the order and evidence can be reviewed. The purchaser may not retain a duplicate refund, credit, replacement, or chargeback for the same loss and must cooperate in correcting an accidental duplicate recovery.
Policy Administration
Westbrook may revise this policy prospectively when its website, products, controls, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version. Questions about this policy may be sent to [email protected]. This policy does not authorize a product, transaction, or use prohibited by law or another Westbrook policy.
