Complaints Corrections Withdrawals and Recalls Policy

This policy explains the rules and practices that apply to Westbrook's website and organizational research-material services. It should be read together with the other Westbrook website policies.

Report suspected wrong identity, contamination, labeling error, document mismatch, damaged or broken seal, unexpected analytical result, shipment problem, or other quality concern promptly to [email protected]. Include the organization, contact, order, product, lot, dates, remaining quantity, storage and handling history, description, and available photographs or documents.

Stop use of the affected material and preserve it, its label, packaging, shipping container, and relevant records until Westbrook provides instructions. Do not return or dispose of material without authorization when doing so could impair investigation or tracing.

Westbrook will document and assess reports, request information where needed, evaluate related lots or orders, and communicate an appropriate disposition. Westbrook may issue a corrected document, advisory, withdrawal, return instruction, quarantine request, or recall. Purchasers must cooperate with tracing, inventory reconciliation, notification of any previously approved transferee, and disposition confirmation.

Westbrook may send safety, correction, withdrawal, or recall communications regardless of marketing preferences because those messages concern a transaction, traceability, safety, or legal obligation. For an urgent human or animal exposure or medical event, contact emergency services, Poison Control in the United States at 1-800-222-1222, or an appropriate medical professional. That emergency number is an external public service and is not a Westbrook support number. Westbrook does not provide medical advice.

Complaint Classification

Westbrook may classify a report by identity, purity, packaging, labeling, documentation, transport, security, or other concern. Classification supports investigation and trend review and does not predetermine responsibility.

Recall Cooperation

A purchaser receiving a recall or withdrawal notice must promptly identify quantity received, used in permitted work, remaining, transferred with approval, and disposed; quarantine affected material; stop further use or transfer; and document the requested disposition.

Exposure Reports

A report suggesting human or animal exposure will be escalated for safety and compliance handling. Westbrook may request factual information needed for product identification and traceability but will not diagnose, treat, or direct medical care.

Policy Administration

Westbrook may revise this policy prospectively when its website, products, controls, or legal obligations change. The effective date identifies the current version.
